Justice for Jason

On July 19th, 2006 one man's decision to get behind the wheel of his car changed our lives forever.

In an instant, we lost a loving son, a caring brother, a loyal friend, a devoted partner, an amazing competitor, a fun-loving nephew, a terrific grandson, a respected coach, and a talented athlete.

At this time, it is known that a diabetic driver hit and killed Jason on Highway 1A east of Cochrane.  Jason was on his 'fast bike', just coming over a hill, probably with his head down, and had no chance to react to the car that came into his path.  It took many hours for the RCMP to identify him.  His best friend Mark was the first to learn of the tragic news.  One phone call after another and one visit after another, family and friends were overcome with grief and sadness.

As we gathered around Jason one last time in Calgary, it was our promise to him that justice would be served.  We will not let the events that occurred that day go unnoticed.

Join us in our quest for justice by sending us your positive energy and prayers as judgement day approaches.
